SUCCESS Lab

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

Welcome to SUCCESS Lab

SUCCESS Lab is directed by Dr. Guofei Gu in the Computer Science and Engineering Department of Texas A&M University. Our group is engaged in cutting-edge research in all aspects of network and systems security.

Our mission is to make networking and computing more secure!

To solve practical security problems, we use networking and system techniques, as well as program analysis, machine learning, artificial intelligence, applied cryptography, probability/statistics, information theory, etc. Our current specific research interests include: (see details in relevant publications by topic)

  • Internet malware detection, defense, and analysis
  • SPS: Software-defined Programmable Security (SDN, NFV, Cloud, Edge, 5G…)
  • Mobile and IoT security
  • Web and Web3 security
  • AI security
  • Intrusion detection, anomaly detection
